Liseberg > Scandinavia's Largest Amusement Park

Scandinavia's largest amusement park is just 1 tram stop from my school and 3 stops from my hostel! Waited so long for it to open... Premier in 28 Apr! Chop chop, first day we got our season ticket pass and went in for the opening ceremony.... (during closing time in fact)... Fireworks!!!

There will be more to come... Today, we were just visiting jus for the sake of fireworks... Come next monday we will be going for the thrill rides and fun!! (er... actually i'm damn scared of the thrill rides..)

It may seem nothing special about wanton mee and soup... But u haf to understand European SEP students... we are super Deprived of Chinese or Asian cuisine!! Something lydat is totally wonderful... although its juz 2mths to goin back home... the feeling of eating this is still great!

yeah, we got all the materials from our expensive chinese supermart and made our own dumplings... let the pro chef (Stockholm chief cook) do the demo... while I follow! Can you see the dumpling I made as well on the last pic?? Damn yummy... Who wan to eat? I make for her! Notice its "her" exclusive... =p

Trips Interrupted > Pearline Visiting...

Yeah, a slight pause on my trips bloggy.. Pearline comes this weekend, visiting.. Poor her for having to pay an expensive train ticket from stockholm due to a super long holiday wkend this week.. So, we gotta make her trip worthwhile...

Hmm... So what is there about Goteborg?? I've to think very very long.. lol... we have Scandinavia's largest shopping mall, Nordstan... largest amusement park, outlying Archipelago islands, Liseberg... museums, churches, ang moh food as usual and a river...

Not forgetting... Food! we love food... and so, yest we had our uber big chicken burger! Stuffed with big chicken patty, onions, lots vege, bacon, mushrm... I'm so surprised Pearline manage to finish it... okie, looks like its not big enuff.. shall upsize it next time anyone comes to visit us...

More about Norway...

The complete Norway trip is named as "Norway in a nutshell" Why? Dont ask me.. you can google that... I've told & repeated myself to teckie,yz,pearline.. blah... =) Norway is a place recommended! Provided u haf the money to spend or burn... Oslo, the capital is one of or the most expensive city in the world if I'm not wrong...

1> Ate SGD$18 burger King... First time in my life...

2> Take metro/MRT up the snow hill... mind u, its MRT with snow scenery...

3> Witness an Iced waterfall... with little drips still..

One of the Winter Olympics skii ground.. the jump ski thingy! I'm so amazed they could do that as a sport... Look at the picture and u will noe.. its like jumping off 10 storeys wearing a ski... Omg, this is so crazy... but its really damn nice lar... this place... I love winter! cant help it...

Norway - Feb 1~4

Norway! Went on Feb 1st to 4th... Winter time... not that a gd time to visit such a beautiful country.. Indeed it is really a very nice scandinavian country... and expensive as well... Am I suited to be a viking knight? =p

We, (me,Linus,Stella & Peiching) took a bus trip down to Oslo, the Norweigen capital. It was a 4hr bus journey... & the toilet had to break down before the bus starts off its journey.. so in between the bus driver made pit stops for toilet breaks.. reminds me of usual Malaysia driving trips..

Downs during the Manchester Trip

Of coz, sometimes.. sh*t does happens during trips or tours..

1) Someone dropped and broke my camera during the stadium tour! Shucks!
2) Witness some senseless and rowdy quarrels at the bus station, guess the race involved.. oops!
3) Bus from Leeds to London airport broke down midway... leaving us stranded in the cold for 2hrs
4) Traffic jam from London city to London airport, almost missed flight!

Admist all these sh*t, I still convinced myself this is a once-in-a-lifetime trip watching Man U play... Truly devilz-lish experience! =p

Old Trafford Stadium Tour

Me and Yz knew we had to go back to Old Trafford again during the same trip! And of coz, we did travel down from Leeds again.. This time, it was peaceful without the crowd unlike on matchday... however, the stadium is as majestic as ever... Tooked a tour around the stadium... Went into the dressing room, interview area, dining area, and also me and yz get to warm the sub bench! Ferrari style seats ok... lol..

A fantastic experience.... except for..... erm...

Time to backtrack yet again...

Manchester United vs Portsmouth in FA Cup 5th Round! Spent over 75pounds (225SGD) to catch this match... crazy rite?! But as Yaozong describe... "thats what being a Man U fan is..." And we get super lucky to sit in the first AA row! Supported them since 10 years ago... finally i get a chance to watch a Live match! and this does not come easily... I haf to fly from Sweden to London, take a hell overnight bus ride to Manchester, tahan not sleepin for hrs.. before experiencing one of the most wonderful experience ever...

Well.. it was worth it afterall.. wat can i say... Manchester United 2 - Portsmouth 1! Witnessed Rooney's delightful chip in real life... superb... whilst i was busy taking pictures as well...

Fail one of my module... How did I do that?!?! Crap... so happens whatever I answered watever is wrong... wah lau... why am I so lousy... feel like sh*t lar...

At the exam review session, I didnt even manage to bargain 1 mark... Need 2.5 to pass! Argh... re-exam re-exam... or retake module...

No mood for anything at all...

Yest Dinner

We invited Vinc and Veron for dinner... 2 singaporeans here.. so rare... lol.. look at our food.. nice ma? Cool lar... we made our very own Danish salad dish..

Its nice to be able to speak Chinese or Singlish in a foreign country... sometimes its so tiring to talk in proper english... or engelska =p
