Half time surprise!

Today, I had a slight surprise. Was having this boring lecture until the break, breathe a huge relief... the tcher was monotonous all the way... teaching a dry topic somemore, Operating system. Juz as I wanted to lie my head on the desk, 3 "siao da bor" came in, singing their hearts out immediately! *Stunned* weird, my lecturer still smiling to those intruders... oh, then i realise they mus be belonging to some club, advertising some stuff, blabbering in Swedish... They wrote on the blackboard, "Hannibal Premiere" Oh... Anyway, all I understand was "Tack so mycket" which means Thank you...

Ok, from then on I was not sleepy anymore til the next lecture that is... =)

A rare sight again!

Coming back from Swedish night class yest... Guess wat me and stella saw outside our hostel? A small creepy thing crawling in front of us, tryin to siam us... It was dark and surprised me a little.. We took out our handphone lights and shone the thingy...

Its a POCCUPINE! Where can you see poccupine except the Zoo?! Goodness... wat a rare sight... "take photo, take photo" i exclaimed... lol, too sua koo... but the poccupine has no spikes... think too cold to do that...

An Afternoon in School

Haven't eaten lunch in school for a long time... coz i either had afternoon or morning lessons last quarter. But this time round, I've got a lunch break on tues.. When the bell rings (ya rite, as if theres a bell) , everyone rushed to the canteen and lounge.. My faculty lounge has 6 microwaves inside, surprised rite? Not everyone here can afford to eat a SGD$13 lunch everyday too ya... I myself followed suit, bringin a microwave food into the lounge... When I went in, it was quite empty initially, so I tot I can relax... but after 5min, every1 suddenly rushed in.. omg... the queue for the microwave became super long! I quickly reacted too... typical KS... =)

After having my food heated, I realised I din bring utensils at all... crap~ so I decided to go to the cafeteria to *kop* a fork... of coz, I did it and sat around there to eat... Nothing to paiseh... =) I sat in front of a huge glass windows, its a full stretch on window, eating by myself... kinda sad and lonely rite...

Nah, I had fun and peace eating my dinner... Beside me, sat a *Claire Danes* type Swedish gal.. woo... ok, she was 2 chairs away eating alone as well.. damn, i'm not so daring to start a conversation... argh.. nvm, back to looking in front... I was facing the school compound, which is outdoor.. How do I say? My building is like a square, 4 blocks of building adjacent to one another, so in between theres an open space, which i refer as the school compound.

It was happening!... Everyone is like enjoying the sun. Most ppl took their microwaved food out to the compound to eat them, chattin happily.. Seems like Spring is here! A happy feeling indeed. Although i prefer winter... To my surprise, some guys took off their shirts and even tried to suntan! TRIED to i emphasize... *Faint* Would you imagine that in Singapore? A student enjoyin bathing in the sun during a lunch break?? Wat a rare sight for me... My lunch time wasnt that borin after all...

Back from Deutschland, Germany

I'm back from Germany, every1! Ok, I've had complains bout my blog... ok, agree, my blog sux... went to take a look at frens blogs, wow, all so happening and interesting... guess I have to buck up abit.. 1st time blogger ma...

Oops, 2 more days I'll be flying off for my Easter Trip! How to blog??!! Oh no, gotta get scolded again... =(

After dinner...

After dinner, what can we do... hmm, after my frens show-offing how nice their snowman are... Of coz I suggested we shd do it as well... lets whip up a gigantic 1, we thought... (and we tot it was ez).... What were we doing on the wall?

Finally we can haf a 3 person dinner... here's our chief cook, Linus and asst.cook, Stella at work... Okie, I'm the official camera man for the nite, not that I never cook ok =p Time to whip up some dishes at our very own apartment kitchen... Great that we do not have to share kitchen... and its clean ok! not like KR messy 1... oops =)

OMG, SNOW!

20 Jan, 07... Snow! Omg, after 20days in Sweden, it finally snow.... Okie, I shant be so "frog in well", seen before... but nevertheless its a happy feeling! Love this.... Just when we were complaining to Stella that we would not see snow this winter, it snowed the next day after she arrived... so lucky!

And this snow arrived so so late... our frens in Stockholm, Linkoping all had their snow 1st...

After 18days, finally another Singaporean is here... our fren, Stella! woo... me and linus went to fetch here at the central station... When I saw here, I was like "WOw".... 1 gal, 4 luggages... omg, how did she did that... 1 30kg huge luggage, 1 laptop back, 1 backpack and 1 sch bag.... damn pro... even I couldnt haf carried that.... and she managed to lug those stuff from SG to here... "Pei Fu"!

I'm so surprised this floating air balloon during the ice hockey match interval can be remote controlled! It goes round and round the stands...

Back in Goteborg...

Hmm... back in Goteborg after my first trip @ Dublin.... This is Ice Hockey! First time watching an ice hockey match! this is between our City, Goteborg and Malmo, another city in Sweden... could we call this Intercity-match? lol, i dun noe... anyway its a league match.. So surprised that so many turned up for the match! its like over 10,000 in attendance.. so rarely I see so much ppl in Goteborg... where were they hiding all this while?? Well, they turned up to support their team, what an atmosphere....

Btw, the team name is Frolunda Indians... why are we called that? I don't noe yet.... The jersey has a red indian printed on top... Of coz, me and linus wore red as well... so as to mingle with the crowd... The ticket isnt very cheap either... cost some 30+ bucks? Well, for once as an experience, it was worthwhile....

And we won 5-3! Which is cool.... who doesnt want to watch a winning match =) Luckily we get to see 8 goals...

Time to go back... this is our plane back... not bad!This is so far the cheapest budget airline I've taken. Cheaper than bus, cheaper than train.. really not bad...

Okie, time to blog on my next stop.... where is it?? Kiruna? Norway? Manchester? oops... too much to follow up... =)

Hostel we stayed

This is the hostel we stayed in Dublin, right in the city centre... really not bad, w breakfast somemore... lol, no i'm not advertising for it... and I wont type the name down also.... my frens bloggers out there, beware... some unknown ppl can google these names and come into ur blog... lol, i've no intention of letting strangers see my blog... although i noe, its on the net *duh*

We missed this!

Shucks, too many things to visit, too little time! When we reached this zoo, its already closed! at 4pm... argh... wat a waste... had a hard time finding this zoo... its in the middle of a very very huge park... It is really damn big, took like 5km walk to reach... that for an exercise... I guess winter is not a time to visit places... all attractions close early evening...

But I like Winter! its wat you never get in Singapore! you will not sweat (hmm, mayb a little wee bit) even if u walked 10km like us.... Its nice to tour around with a cool weather...

Jail!

This is one of the oldest jail in Dublin... 1st time visiting a jail... indeed very big! I haven't even been to Changi prison, I guess its nothing compared to this... wonder how 1000s cells are in there.... Its really scary and the jail are those who confine an individual.... no lights, only a small window... Even the worst criminal will fear to be inside... well, now it has been turned into a museum sort jail... this has some historical background to it in Dublin...

okie... i'll be forever stuck in Dublin if i don't continue to blog... =) shall continue..... there's still so much after this! when will i ever be up-to-date? I don't noe myself... now i shall mix the present with the past 2mths i've been here...
