Boo... I forgot about school... isnt that what I'm here for (*lol*) yeah... thats sch... okie, Chalmers is a technological university, so its not some "chapel-style" 100yrs old building as I've thought it would be... nevertheless, the surroundings are nice =) erm... except there are no A1 or B buses to fetch me around the campus! boo... anyway, used to walking here... lol... "isnt very far" is what you have to convince urself... =p
oh and btw, I'm taking some Masters courses here... omg.. sure super tough...

Cruise (cont)
Yeah, cruise! Its really like a cruise... we will be goin to the southern islands archipelago... there are a few small islands... travel 10mins pay $3.50... travel 1 hr oso pay $3.50... of coz, u guessed it.. we went to the furthest island possible! and it became a to-and-fro 2 hr cruise! lol.. kinda cool rite... but slightly spoiler is the rain.. making the scenery foggy goggy...
some abstracts on the island... guess wat.. the islands are car-free! isnt that cool? some how lesser pollution.. again, sounds gd for retirement if u were to have a bungalow by the sea... oh btw, before boarding onto the vessel, we saw 2 men carryin a Sony Bravia 60inch LCD TV aboard! .. oh my... those living on the islands must be damn rich as u can see... wat a luxury...

One of the days... Cruise!
Yeah, taking a tram down to Saltholmen... Most Southern-West part of our city... Why? Coz so that I can go on a cruise! Oh wait... the cruise is actually also part of our transport system, managed by Vastraffik. U pay the same amt taking a bus or a tram... why not take advantage by taking a boat... =p

Food! (for the first 2weeks)
Food! woo... oops, why am i so excited... the food here is crazy ex lar.. 14SGD for a lunch? every day eat lydat will go "POK" in a month man... thats y... supermarket is the best! though its still expensive...
Microwave Food, doesnt seem very nice but still edible (5bucks+) -->
Supermarket shopping is the most frequent thing I've done in the 1st 2weeks in sweden... dat seems to be the most fun thing! lol.. me and linus chose everything the cheapest and we buy them... Prices are quite special in supermarkets like WIllys... they have an exact price... + a secondary price per KG/per piece something like that.. so that you can compare different brands by using the secondary price! kinda ez huh...
And so happenned... after our few weeks here in Goteborg, we manage to find out the various supermarket prices! cool rite..... i can even rem some of the prices... "auntie-becoming"..................

hmm, the city is basically very nice.. quite small, almos everything is walking distance... (of coz, we dont haf a choice! -_-) taking a bus or tram cost almos 3.50SGD! faint... everything is exp.. everyday me and linus almost walked 10km for the first 2 weeks... We start our day at 10+ and end at 3+ to 4... which is already super dark!
as we arrived early, the city Gothenburg, seems somehow deserted! lol.. there are so few ppl compared to Singapore... and I feel its very safe... sounds good for a retirement place... see the photos and u'll know..

Touched down at Gothenburg!
Woo, after a 2 hrs flight from Paris, finally reached our destination... Landvetter airport of Gothenburg (in Sweden its Goteborg... [[pronounced as Yo-de-boy, sth like that]])... Not the best of day... it was dark... raining, in Winter! super cold... why wasnt it snow instead we tot...
took a taxi (75SGD -_- ) down to our temporary accomodation, Chalmers Guesthouse. The best thing is its free! how nice for our accomodation coordinator.. Its a nice apartment and I'm very glad...
So, after unpacking, we had to walk around our neighbourhood... to hunt for FOOD! the first thing.. cold and hunger cannot be mixed together =) at least for me... so under the rain, we walked around , under the rain no choice... nice environment though... and we found a good supermarket, nearby... WIllys! (why i so excited?.. I'll touch on this later...)

What I Remember...
Reached Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport, France on 1st Jan in the early morning 6am.. Woot, instead of taking us to the transit lounge, we were actually let out to Paris! Weird... So me and linus went "out" of the airport to take a pic or 2... yes, we have been to Paris =p duh, we will come again of coz...
Airports are not cities, they are far from cities.. Theres alwiz these misrepresentations that airports are in cities.. how nice if that is.. airport transfers are damn ex... (hidden cost)... but I'm smart enuff to noe =p
Soon, 10am, we flew to Gothenburg, Sweden... our primary destination...
