Crappy day... had to wake up early for school after a sleepless night yet again.. Already 4 consective nites with my non-stop itching toopid idotic body...

During lunch break, I tried to go to the student centre to ask if theres a doctor in sch or sth.. the person told me, the student health centre is near the city and gave me a note to the address and asked me to call tml since its closed for telephone appointments with the centre.

After sch at 3pm, I decided I cannot tahan anymore and should see a doc. So I went down to the pharmacy-like clinic to ask for a doc. Okie, theres no doctor there and the person suggests I should go down to one of the 2places. So I got a 2nd piece of note.. So I went to the one nearer to school, still a 15min walk..

Next, I reached. The receptionist asked me "Issit emergency?" I had to say no reluctantly.. "then u cant see the doc, he's fully booked" argh.. so I tried to ask for a booking for tomorrow hopefully... and she asked where I stay... so I told her, "blah blah". Then she stopped, "oh, sorry. U belong to other region which has the same type of clinic there. Something like polyclinic stuff.. ARGH! so ma fan.. so i had to call up "my region" clinic tomorrow to make an appointment as well. Closed for the day.. I got a 3rd piece of note stating the address and telephone yet again.. No choice, i walked back hostel.. tough..

back hostel, still damn itchy.. had to try my luck at the other place told. Near the city centre.. so I had to take tram down... Finally found. Okie, finally i see a polyclinic look alike. The one and only who takes in walk-in patient. Pressed for a queue number.. to my horror, its 30+ from the queue, theres not so many ppl like in SG polyclinics but still so long..

so.. wait and wait and wait.. 2hrs gone by.. luckily I had my hp with me to play TEnnis java game.. the ultimate boliao resort already.. finally it rings, and its my turn... Hiew..

Went up to the receptionist:
Me: I will like to see a doctor pls
Her: okie, can I have your identity or sth card..
Me: sure, gladly gave all my cards with my face..
Her: Hmm...
Me: Er...
Her: Do u haf a swedish person number? *looking at my cards*
Me: Oh, nope.. I'm a student here, not resident though..
Her: Oh, then I'm afraid you have to pay 1050kr (SGD$230) to see the doctor
Me: What?? 1050?? I just wanted to consult a doctor..
Her: Yeah, you have to pay at here at registration first since you are not Swedish..
Me: (thinking.. should I pay??)
Her: Do you have some form of insurance back home?
Me: Yeah... (but its still I have to pay $100 myself)
Her: So?
Me: Er.. is there other places where I can see the doctor cheaper or sth?
Her: I'm afraid its the same everywhere..
Me: (argh.. the itch is killing me) okok, I think I'll pay...
Me: Btw, how long must I wait to see the doctor?
Her: Er, it could be ranging from 3hrs to 4hrs..
Me: (........... frm afternoon to dinner time I've been here)
Her: So you want to pay now?
Me: I think I'll give it a miss and try the student health centre tml..


That summarises my day...
Juz a tot: I missed Singapore, I missed GPs, clinics (although I hate to see them when needed)

Where on Earth can I find a doctor to see me just for a few minutes then here in this foreign land???
